Sunday 15th June

Hello!

Today is FATHERS DAY! Anyway, this morning I made my Dad a breakfast in bed. Freshly squeezed apple juice with our coolio fruit juicer (not blender, juicer!) you know that big silver one that they have in all those shops i.e. Best Denki, and then theres a picture of a squished green apple. Well, anyway, and tea and mini pancakes :] What skills

Then, we went to The Ledgens for lunch, since we are member there. And just to let you all know, I hate BEES, WASPS, DRAGONFLIES, AND HORNETS! There was a stupid hornet flying round the place, because we were sitting outside. My Dad insisted and I couldn’t really argue because it was Father’s Day.

Then, we drove home, and did basically nothing for the rest of the day. What fun! Actually, now I can’t really remember what I did – oh yeah, I talked to people on msn, i.e. Kym, and I told her to watch a Hannah Montana episode called Me & Mr. Jonas & Mr. Jonas & Mr. Jonas :]

Those Pictures

June 15, 2008 at 10:40 am (Uncategorized)

Hello,

I’m going to show you who’s in which photo (before) because I don’t want you to get confused, because they all look fairly similar if you’ve not really seen them before. Lol, I would know :] Right Nat?? Anyway, from left to right:

Photo One: Joe Jonas

Photo Two: Joe Jonas

Photo Three: Kevin Jonas

Photo Four: Kevin Jonas

Photo Five: Kevin, Joe, Nick

Photo Six: Kevin, Nick, Joe

Photo Seven: Kevin, Miley Cyrus, Nick, Joe

Well, I hope it makes more sense to you now. I was going to put in some pictures of Nick, but I actually don’t have any of him yet, because I prefer Kevin & Joe. I mean, as people. Too many people like Nick, so he’s not one of my favourites at the moment. And, I was going to put this post in the previous one, but I forgot where the “edit” button was :] oopsies.

THE JONAS BROTHERS.

June 15, 2008 at 10:31 am (Uncategorized)

Hello,

Just to let you know, if you haven’t figured out already, I think the Jonas Brothers are amazing. Natalie will not agree, since she is more into J-Pop now, not that that’s a bad thing :] Anyway, I am really looking forward to their new CD, which comes out in August, called “A little Longer…” or something like that, I can’t exactly remember. Right now, I have “The Jonas Brothers: Bonus Jonas Edition” which is their second album, but the “bonus” or “deluxe” edition of it :] And, now it’s PICTURE TIME!!

iTunes

June 15, 2008 at 10:25 am (Uncategorized)

Hello,

For some strange reason, on my “Top 25″ playlist, it had all these random Hilary Duff songs from the album “Dignity” and, yeah, I have her whole CD in my iTunes, but I never played it so many times, so for the whole of today, I have tried to eliminate them by playing all my favourite songs/songs which I like a numerous ammount of times. So, I am going to share with you my new “Top 25″ playlist.

Oh well, it’s not working, but anyway. ALL of the Jonas Brothers songs from their Album “Jonas Brothers: Bonus Jonas Edition” is on there, “Piece of Me” by Britney, “Let’s Dance” by Miley Cyrus, “Good & Broken” by Miley Cyrus, “See You Again” by Miley Cyrus and some random Hilary Duff songs are on there too, since I couldn’t manage to get rid of them all – I haven’t played my songs enough times. But, I will get there some day.

Saturday 14th June

June 15, 2008 at 10:05 am (Uncategorized)

Hello!

Well, today we had the carboot sale. I had to wake up at 6.30, but I ended up waking up later :] I was so tired, since it was a saturday, I wanted to sleep in, but, I had to get up to do the thingie, which I must say was not my first choice of things to do on a saturday morning. Anyway, when I was finally up, I went down, got breakfast and had a shower. Then, Annie, Tristan, my Mum & I took a taxi to school, because the car was full of things that we were taking to sell (my Dad came in the car, and drove our stuff there).

When we got there, we took time to set out all of our stuff (we had a lot) the plan was that, whatever we didn’t sell, we would either keep or give to the Salvation Army. Which is good I guess, because we’re getting rid of stuff, and giving good-quality stuff to charity. We’re getting rid of things not because they’re bad quality or old or anything, it’s just because we can’t take everything back to Europe. Because the house that we’re going to move into, isn’t exactly as big as the one we’re living in now. But the one we’re living in now is HUMUNGOUS!

Anyway, we sold quite a bit, including our mini-fridge! We sold that to Mrs. Allen for $50, because she wanted one for the staff or something. I don’t know, but anyways… I kept seeing Plethan and his family. I mean, I was SO STUPID! His Dad & sister bought stuff, and his Dad was chatting with my Mum, and I should have recognised him, I mean, he’s Plethan’s Dad, anyway, I didn’t know it was him, until Plethan came up and talked to him in a father-son way, and then I realised, and he kept walking by, so I kept hiding behind the car/casually going to get a drink :]

Well, after that… Annie, Tristan & I went home in a taxi, whilst my parents went by car, and had lunch and then went shopping or something. When they got back, I got 2 polo shirts. One was hot pink from Kappa, with a green & white Kappa logo. The other one was green, with a white collar, and like.. a logo and an Italian thingie-ma-jig on the other side. Lol, I don’t know what it is exactly.

Shopping Spree!

June 13, 2008 at 2:46 pm (Uncategorized)

Hello!

I am currently extremely bored at this very moment in time, so I am going to share with you, some things that I would like/am going to buy/am going to put on my birthday list. You see, I still haven’t really made up a birthday list, because I don’t know where to start, and I don’t know if I’m going to buy the stuff myself or not…

Ring from Perlinis Silver, “Blackout” Britney CD, “Mean Girls” DVD, Black bodywarmer from Billabong – I saw it in Tampines Mall.

It’s like $75 but I have to have it! It’s sooo cool, I don’t know if it’s sold yet or not though, because I saw it a couple of weeks ago, but, come on, where we live – it’s hot right? So.. why would anyone want to buy a bodywarmer, which is warm?? It might be someone who’s not living here, or is moving away to a cold country. STOP IT!! Your bodywarmer will be there Alexandra, think straight, it will be there, it will be there. You guys can probably tell that I really want this bodywarmer right?

Now, you see – theres one slight problem. Those are the only things that I can think of! WHAT A DISASTER! I mean, usually I come up with a humungous birthday list, but my parents end up getting me about an eigth of what’s on there, because the list is so long – but, I can’t really think of anything. Everything that I do want, isn’t out yet. Well, not everything, but the majority. Like:

The new Jonas Brothers CD, “The General” by Robert Muchamore, “Camp Rock” DVD, “Camp Rock” Original Sountrack.

Okayy… maybe that’s not that much either. Well, if you put the two lists together, well, you still get hardly anything. Ok! I GOT IT!! I also wanted all of the Sims 2 things that I don’t have yet. Like: Celebration! Stuff, Happy Holidays stuff and Bath & Kitchen interior design stuff. Ok, that will take away about $75… well, I could always save money, or get money for christmas. AHA! I GOT IT!!! I know what I want! I want clothes & shoes & accessories & jewellry & makeup! But, I can’t make them exact things, thats why I can’t think of anything! Oh, Alexandra, you are so smart sometimes! Well, I have to go now…

SOME TEST RESULTS.

June 13, 2008 at 1:10 pm (Uncategorized)

Here are some exam results that I got, I included the score and the percentage.

ICT – 100/121, 83%

Science – 61/75, 81%

Mental Maths – 25/30, 83%

French Listening – 38/40, 95%

My mandarin teacher told me that I either got full marks, or only one wrong on my listening paper, which is good. I hope I did really well on all my other tests. For me, 80% and above is good. And, over 90% is like, great. So far, my grades range from 81% – 95% which isn’t bad I guess. Well, I will tell you more of my results when I actually get them :]

Friday 13th June

June 13, 2008 at 1:07 pm (Uncategorized)

OMG! It’s FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH!!! Sorry, I was meant to say Hello. So, Hello! :] Anyway, first thing, I had Mandarin, where I had a test. It was a writing exam. It was alright, I thought that the listening one was way easier though. We then had Science, where we marked one of our previous tests. Because, in Science at our school, we do different topics, and at the end of each topic, we get an EOT test (End Of Topic). So, we were marking our one on “Rocks & Weathering” which I must say was very boring.

Then we had break, and then we had English. It was a library lesson, so we got to go to the library and read books. I got out this book called “Life on the Refrigerator door” or something like that. It’s on the Carnegie Long List, and so I took it out. I finsihed it in the lesson though, because it was so short – well, it looked thick, but sometimes there were only a few sentences on one page. In the end, her mum dies of breast cancer, which is sad, but I read it so quickly, that it didn’t really have such an effect on me, as sad books usually do. So, then we had Maths, where we had the non-calculator test. Eeek! I found it really hard, well maybe “really hard” is exaggerating. Ok, it was hard/ok, but I run out of time. :( I hope I don’t fail that one :( :( :(

Then, we had lunch, and then I had french, where I HAD MY LAST EXAM! It was a French Reading Paper, which was ok/easy, not really that hard. We were meant to have 45 minutes for it, but I only took like.. 20? I worked through it quite quickly. When I got back home, I packed up some boxes for the car boot sale tommorow, which I really don’t want to go to, incase I bump into someone like heniao, or someone I know, who is in my class. I am pretty freaked out about it actually. Haha, what if heniao talks to me, and I’m the one who keeps laughing whenever he passes by, because.. I’m not going to post it on here, because someone wouldn’t really appreciate it. But, I don’t like him, incase you were wondering. Then, we had dinner at this italian restaurant called “Etna”. Well…

Thursday 12th June

June 13, 2008 at 12:58 pm (Uncategorized)

Heyy,

How are you all? Well, today we first had Science, where we found out science results! I’m going to make a post with all of my grades that I’ve been given back so far, because I just want to :] Anyway, we spent practically the whole lesson going through the paper. Then, we had French. I had an exam – a listening one. It was actually pretty easy, apart from something when the tape said something like “On christmas eve, we played in the snow and talked to the trees” Well, it was in french, but I’m just like “TALKED TO TREES???” and then i figured that they could be talking round the trees or something. So, I got my results for that too, which I will put up.

Then we had break, and did the usual, just stayed up by our lockers. Then we had Art. We had a cover teacher, and he was rather scary, so I just got on with my work, and talked as little as possible, because I didn’t want to get yelled at – clever eh? :] Then, we had P.E. but, I really like P.E. on thursdays, because we’re doing Dance now. I wish our lessons were for 2 hours, not one, because they seem to go by really quickly. Anyway, we worked on our hiphop meets basketball dance routine. I am in a group with Phoebe, Leanna & Natalie, whose blog by the way is http://pumpthevolume.wordpress.com

Then, we had lunch – woot woot! Then, we had maths. We had a mental maths test, which was alright, and I found out my score for that too, so I shall tell you in another post which I shall post soon. Well, when I got home, I didn’t really have anything to do… Well, I can;t think of anything else to say, so I’ll tell you about my day tommorow soon!

Wednesday 11th June

June 13, 2008 at 12:51 pm (Uncategorized)

Hellooo,

Well, today is the third day of exam week… whoopee! Half way through! Woot Woot! Anyways, it started off as any normal day. Went into registration, and then we had our first lesson: Music, we had to finish our “Hooks and Riffs” piece on the computers. Don’t ask me what a hook or a riff is though, because I don’t know lol. Anyways, we started off with nothing, because we’d got it all wrong in the previous lessons :] but, by the end of the lesson, Natalie & I had mastered it! And, at the end of the lesson she gave us a “well done” !!! :] :] :] Our second lesson was History – where we had an exam. Some parts of the exam were easy, and some were hard. At the end, we had to write an essay on slavery. We had two choices. We could either say why it should be abolished, or why it was good for England’s econonomical world. We’re talking about slavery in the past by the way, not modern-day slavery.

Then, we had break. Yay! Our next lesson was P.E. And, our topic was Striking & Fielding. Which, I do not like. It was alright I guess, we had to share the new hall with the year 7s. But, there was a curtain type-thing in the middle, so I guess it didn’t really matter. Oh, and hardly anyone was enthusiastic, so, it was all a little bit boring. Well, everyone apart from Jong, in the end, he wacked one of the pole thingies, and it broke, and then our P.E. teacher got all mad. Next we had Maths, in which we had a test – the non-caclulator test. It wasn’t actually extremely hard.. it was ok, but there was a lot to do, so you really needed the hour.

Then… we had lunch! After lunch, we had PSHCE, where George & Elisha “pitched” our smoothie. You see, all the year 8s had to do something called “The Smoothie Challenge” each tutor group had to come up with a recipe, name, slogan, logo, pricing and more. The winner of the smoothie challenge would get their smoothie made in the School Canteen, and all of the proceeds would go to IndiaAid, our schools charity toward India. In the end, 8.4 won, because they had “freebies” that could be won if you bought the smoothie. So, for example, if there was one coloured sticker on the bottom of the cup, you would get a box of chocolates, if you got another coloured sticker, then you would get one “Get out of detention free” card, which would be valid for the whole of the school year. But, 8.2 (Us!) won something for the best taste. Apparently the winners smoothie tastes… interesting, basically not very nice - well, that’s what I’ve heard. So, the end of the day came, and then, well, nothing really happened at home.

ByeBye!! Alexx :]
